One tenet of finding good tech solutions and making them work well for people is giving feedback to and making requests of software makers. To that end, I’ve put up the Demand Better page, which has links for communicating with many of the developers of the software I use regularly.

A tenacious bout of repetitive strain injuries two decades ago forced me to pay a lot of attention to speech input, efficiency, and how different types of input can be used in combination. The Speech Input page points to my speech input work.

There’s also a page on interactive transcripts. This is about making audio and video more accessible by making it easier for both providers and viewers to search, navigate and share audio and video.
